Rosie, Adam and Bob grab a beer, crack some peanuts and settle into their seats at the Roadhouse. Something is happening in the fourteenth episode of David Lynch and Mark Frost's Twin Peaks, Lonely Souls.

This time on Diane we witness the Reveal. Catherine Martell drops the mask, Harold Smith bares his soul, and the spirits at the roadhouse step into the spotlight. Laura Palmer was raped and murdered by XXXX, dear listener. We’re so sorry.

I keep hearing people talk about how the new Peaks will be able fare less 'tame' post many HBO series which really push the envelope in terms of violence and sex but I think that's rubbish. Twin Peaks is not tame (do people forget it's a show that centred upon a father raping and murdering his child) and to this day Maddie's murder is the most upsetting and shocking thing I've seen on TV, even hear you talking about just makes me feel cold.

Hate to say it... while there are very good moments & episodes left including FWWM: the reveal of Leland being BOB's host & the after moments in the Roadhouse are the greatest peak the series will ever reach aka: it's all downhill from here
