I keep hearing people talk about how the new Peaks will be able fare less 'tame' post many HBO series which really push the envelope in terms of violence and sex but I think that's rubbish. Twin Peaks is not tame (do people forget it's a show that centred upon a father raping and murdering his child) and to this day Maddie's murder is the most upsetting and shocking thing I've seen on TV, even hear you talking about just makes me feel cold.
Hate to say it... while there are very good moments & episodes left including FWWM: the reveal of Leland being BOB's host & the after moments in the Roadhouse are the greatest peak the series will ever reach aka: it's all downhill from here
